As I'm stuck with 26" MTB's with straight steerers for the foreseeable future, I was looking at replacement forks and found this company

26 Mountain Bike Fork | 26 Inch MTB Suspension Forks - Air Bike

They do seem very cheap (almost disposable), but has anyone tried them?

I realise its a somewhat niche market now.

They are the same folk who are re-branding Chinese cassettes and popping on a blue anodised lock-ring.

Used decent forks & budget for a service would be my preference over something that was deemed almost disposable.

Not these exact forks, but a friend who has a straight steerer on his bike bought some of the Chinese ones for 29ers and they lasted a couple of rides.

lasted how? I'm considering a set of rigid forks from there for the kids bike (where there's almost nothing to go wrong..)

Thanks, they did rather have a whiff of a free lunch for that price.

Thanks Davo, I was thinking speculatively, but I'll get back to you if the funding committee become receptive.
