So, so, sorry..........
I've got a fancy hybrid that's not used as often as it deserves, geometry and spec is more or less a CX bike but with flat bars. I fancy putting some CX tyres on to try on the local smoother trails. Grippier the better, not fussed about hard wearing. Not a clue where to start.
Thanks.
I got Schwalbe cx pro cheap as a pair from eBay, pretty happy with them. Always surprises me the way they rip up muddy climbs.
Challenge Grifos, the proper 300tpi open tubular ones.
CX Pros are cheap and cheerful, tackle most things, love my Rocket Rons now it's got muddy, tread that clears well, and good aggresive side knobs for cornering, if going Challenge the Limus are the muddy grippy tyre they do, work well as long as the mud is not too sticky.
