Hey all,

I want a decent entry level hardtail for around £200 and found this 2010 carrera fury for £200, its 20" frame (Im 5'11" so should be okay) and looks in good nick.

Can anyone more experienced than myself please advise whether this is a good buy?

Thanks, Morgan

Too big for you IMHO.

I'm 6'1'' and don't ride a 20'' off road.

Would concur with timbur and suggest that 20" will be too big unless you'll only be using it on road.

Is it 2010 model for sale as new old stock in a shop or 2nd hand private? £200 is possibly a bit much if the latter. Carrera pretty good value low-end bikes but maybe a bit on the heavy side.

Nah, i'm 5'10" and ride a 16". I had an 18" previous to that and it was a bit too big for off road, couldnt get good clearance over the bike. Depends how rad you wanna be as well.
