Trashed bibs yesterday...lid should be replaced too to be sure (may have sustained impact).
As a point of reference I have a Fox Flux, and had 3/4 Altura bibs which always felt a little 'restrained'.
Would like full length bibs - what's good quality without breaking bank?
I know lids are a very personal thing but if a Flux fits, what else of a similar quality is likely to fit my bonce?
These might be paid for by an insurer - along with a bike!)...cheers

Been out today for a cold road ride with tenn lazer bib longs, toasty and great for the money

They size up quite large though, my DHB's were L and I need these in a M.

Howies have padded longs in their sale (which ends today I think).

Pearl Izumi PRO 3/4s here. If I was after a pair of full-length bibs PI would be first port of call.

Anyone have a MET Kaos or Mavic Notch lid? How do they fit/size?
I have a Fox Flux which I like the fit of so could go for same again.
Some good deals on CRC for Kaos and Notch.
Anyone recommend a good lid for max budget of £70? (could be a sale item for that price too)...thanks.

i used voucher code FLASH10 for an extra 10% off if you spend over £75, this code may be expired though

Decathlon 700 or 520 bibs. Very good indeed in my eyes.
The Decathlon helmets aren't bad either for commuting and the like.

Couldn't make my mind up about which lid to get with so many options, size variants etc.
There's no substitute for tying one on at the end of the day.
Managed to try a few on today - Giro Hex (ok), Catlike Leaf (fitted nice but looks a bit like Blue Peter made it) and a Met Terra which was great. Light, fits lovely, stealth matt black looks and a £70 lid for £42...plus I'll have it for the weekend.

+1 for the Decathlon tights. Not sure which ones I ended getting but they were £59. They are a good fit but I did have to go up a size.
Helmets - whatever shape fits your head. As an example 661 fit me really well whereas Giro don't - that doesn't make them a bad helmet just not for me. Try before you buy.

Gore Oxygen Windstopper any good?
Going to a shop where they have them tomorrow so will try - in a pretty decent sale too.
Went with Met Terra lid in the end - great fit, looks good and good price. 2 rides in and pretty happy with it - fits better than the Fox Flux it replaced.
