hi all i fitted a luftkappe to my 2017 36 rc2 forks and they are not an improvement the forks can have the travel adjusted i think the previous owner changed the travel but how would i check ? the travel measures 180mm the forks originally were 170mm
can anyone point me in the direction of what to look at/check cheers
You should have a sticker behind one of the fork legs just below the dust seals with four letters/numbers in it. Input those here , where it says 4 digit code to find out the original specs of your fork.
I think I remember reading that the Luftkappe might not play nice with really long travel forks, but no personal experience.
cheers found out it was lengthened to 180mm but they didn't move the transfer needle to the correct position
