Happy new year!  I need to replace my sons shock as it’s toast,, I’m trying to find the measurements for it but struggling to pin it down. It’s an Orange Five Diva 14inch version.

im trying to get a working shock off eBay but need help with the sizes - this is a link to the bike if it helps pick the type

https://muddymoles.org.uk/reviews/orange-five-14-review-one-for-the-ladies

seems to be 185mm eye to eye

Im presumming its 184mm x 44mm looking at other adverts but just after confimation if anyone else knows?

https://singletrackmag.com/forum/topic/orange-5-rp23-stroke-length/

Even Oranges own site agrees that it's a 190mm shock on all sizes.

(TBH, if it's a 14 year old frame, there's a good chance someones fitted a new shock that may or may not be the right size!)

I'd have guessed 190x40mm, but just give Orange a bell and ask.

They are super-helpful with stuff like this IME.

All the old Fives used to run a 190 x 50 shock. I can’t imagine the 14” ran a different size.

190*51 should be fine. In theory you'll get an extra 2 or 3mm of travel and I can't imagine it being tight enough clearance wise that it would cause an issue.

You could also search for imperial shocks at 7.5x2

Stealth ad... I've got an old 190x50 fox dhx air 4.0 sat in the spares bin not doing anything.
I'd let it go for a very reasonable price.

DM me if interested and I'll send you more details.
