Now I truly thought I knew the name of every darn thing on a bicycle - but alas, I cannot put a name to the these little buggers - that I now need!

Can you lot help?

The circular things ... they are the little bits that go with down-tube shifters ... And I have lost mine !

Any clue what they're called ?? Or where to purchase??

Cheers very much

Probably referred to as spacers in some way. None at SJS then?

ebay buy some shifters?
you can use a washer instead on the inside as it catches the square post bit not as pretty but a reasonable fix

Ooh Clubber, your 'spacer' comment led to a interesting google search ...

I think I'm looking for a sl-7900 friction cap ! ... maybe 😕

Another way would be to buy a road gear stop (that fits on the same part of the frame) and then just use a hacksaw to cut it down to the bit you want.
