Teh niche has now definitely gone mainstream. Spesh are (it would appear) making fatbikes.

Time for another niche? 😉

It'll bring down the price of fat bikes and bits for mere mortals and increase availability, so it's a good thing..
And I can't wait to see a fatbike out on the trail and ask if its a Specialized. and watch as they explode in a cloud of indignant (ex) niche'ism..

Nah, we're looking forward to not getting reamed for parts so we're happy.

And you don't ride a fatbike if you care about what the trailpark cafe set think.

That really. I ride a fatbike because it's either the best tool for the job or it gives me the most fun. If parts get cheaper when Specialized, Trek and Kona launch their fatbikes, I'll be well chuffed.
