Hi All
I'm riding my old haunts of the n.downs soon, are the trails still dry & dusty, or soaking wet & muddy?

Pretty variable IMO at the moment. Are you only on N Downs or are you including Surrey Hills?

Mostly dry but patches of mud.

Seems to me that conditions deteriorate as you go east. On NDW, worse E of Newlands Corner, drier to the W. Surrey Hills (esp Pitch) worse than Holmbury and areas like Hindhead, Hankley etc.
Better all round than pre-olympics but raining hard now!
