Or should that just be "Turq"?
After dithering for a good 12 months, and struggling to find another Hardtail that fitted into the "XC Weight, but not too XC Geometry" category that I really liked the look of I took advantage of £550 discount on a 2022 Yeti ARC Frame and got the first couple of rides in this weekend. I've been very much a steel hardtail fan (and still am, I'll keep my BFeMAX frame 100%) but this is a real revelation, and definitely feels a lot further from my full suspension than the BFeMAX did which was something I was hoping to achieve.
I do have some different components on the way this week (Bank Holidays permitting!) but I couldn't wait to ride it as soon as possible. Anyway, pics!:

Be nice when you grow into it
Nice, which shop was doing them at a £550 discount?
These look excellent - a mate has picked one up recently too. I suspect they were overpriced to start with and there have been a few discounts recently which make them a bit more realistic (although still expensive obvs).
Very nice, and you've inadvertently succeeded in fulfilling the criteria for this week's photo challenge of dry stone walls 😊👍
Lovely 😎
I am, of course, totally biased but who cares 🤷♂️
Awesome bike
@kayak23 I unfortunately took this on Sunday so I didn't think I should enter it!
@northersouth I ordered from Startfitness, ordered Friday lunchtime and delivered 8am Saturday morning! They have XL still at that price only in Turquoise, or the other two colours are £100 more for some reason: https://startfitness.co.uk/products/yeti-arc-t-series-carbon-mountain-bike-frame-2022-turquoise
I think you're right @joebristol as I would never have paid full price, I still had a sleepless night after hitting 'buy' but it's beautifully made and has lots of nice details and overall I'm very happy. It still wasn't cheap obviously, but the discount meant the price difference to an equivalent racy full-suspension frameset was suddenly much larger (£2k plus) so it seemed almost good value all of a sudden...
@NormalMan biased is fine, even after one ride I can understand why! I've always been a die-hard Steel MTB fan, but variety is good and I'm super happy with how it rides and feels.
Now I should start the less fun job of going through my other frames & spares and recouping some of the cost/clearing some garage space! But perhaps I'll just go for another ride instead...and then give it a clean...and then maybe just sit and look at it for a while with a cuppa...

Man maths at its finest 💪
Hopefully it’s good to ride - it looks lovely

With that amount of rebar sticking out?😉
Unfortunately it's the remains of a section of Tank Defence/Pillbox rather than anything innocent and rustic!
I more than suspect they're overpriced to start with, definitely, absolutely, unequivocally so imho 😀.
The trouble with turquoise is it makes everything else a bit bland, a fork decal change would be on the cards if it was mine and maybe some turquoise valves for a little bit of bling, but I'm a total bike tart.
Looks great
Lovely! Many congratulations
@noeffsgiven I prefer "reassuringly expensive...haha
I'm not one for bling (he says after buying a turquoise Yeti) so all black everything works for me. Although I did just order a gold chain which will go on with my new cranks when they turn up which is pretty tarty.
