Looking to vaguely replace my cheap Chinese carbon 29er commuter thats done over 15k miles this year.
Impulse silk road frame purchase on Boxing day flash PX sale, SS wheel sale & Ebay bargain Yari gave me a rolling chassis for under £600!
Mix new & used XTR + XT + Hope parts built up in anticipation over the last few months.
Took it 6 miles for its first ride to a country pub today in the sunshine & I'm well happy - just need to fit some bottle cages and a rack to complete.
There's something about the finish of raw ti. 👌
I don't think I've ever seen a white Yari either.
Had no idea white Yaris existed.
15k miles a year deserves a Ti bike. Nice one.
Ti frames in raw always look nice. I’ve literally never seen a white Yari in the metal / for sale / on an OEM bike. To come in under £600 for a ti frame and a Yari is ridiculously cheap.
That is a spicy commute!
Hope the bike is awesome!
How does the weather differ to ground level at the top of that seat post?
😉
"15k miles a year"
The total hit 15k this year - It took me 4.5 years to do that distance.
Appropriate username given the length of that seatpost..😉
I am sure it's a very nice ride, but that top tube upsets my brain.
At least the high seat post means you won't notice it so much from above. 😉 😆
To be fair in the third photo the seatpost does look longer than the seat tube.
Love a Ti frame though so I think they’re all just jealous.
