You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Yesterday I picked up this Vagabond. It is 2020 model but with less than 50 miles of use - it has one small paint chip on the top tube, other than that you cannot tell it has been ridden. Plan is to ride it a bit and then see - it may be too beefy for my use, or it may open up more off-road and comfort that I like. It may end up with some faster rolling tyres and full guards, likely a rack as I use a pannier when I commute.
The bars feel very odd as they are so wide, and DoubleTap will take some learning.
As I collected this bike and was mucking around on it with eldest_oab on the streets of Edinburgh, youngest_OAB was getting up in Auckland to collect his new ride.
The LBS ( https://www.mecbikes.co.nz/ ) had agreed to sell him an ex-demo bike - but as they serviced and cleaned it for him, they accidently sold it to someone else! So they pulled a blinder and offered him a 2022 new in box bike for basically not a lot more - and got it prepped and out the door in 48 hours. Fair play.
So he is now sporting a brand new Stumpjumper Comp Alloy, and heading out around the Auckland trails for a couple of rides before he heads to Queenstown with it for the winter...
Nice darts 🙂
I tried to ignore the moss between your slabs but failed.
I'll not mention the valve/ logo alignment on the front wheel either.
😜
Nice bikes, I think I prefer juniors 😉

meh. You should see the rest of the garden. 😉

That *will* be resolved, it does my head in too....
Sounds like he got a good deal 👍
And it is a lovely bike - the same model he had in UK, just the latest model and on 29" wheels. schweeeeet.
