Yeah its nothing 'special' but its my first folder! My commute hasn't changed, but I'd like to make my train life more efficient. Plus n+1 and all that.... 😉 As per the new Brompton naming, 6 speed C-series. The hub gears are going to take some getting use to (whereas it possible to keep pedalling and change gear on our cargo bike)! Definitely need to change the front chainring for the Yorkshire hills.

Which bag did you go for? Luggage is the best part of the Brompton, fold and weight are OK, but there are lighter and as small others. But luggage options are great. And it rides better with a bag on the front.

Contemplating a T-series or an electric P from the tax-free bike to work scheme myself (to add to the three folders I already have).

I haven’t, yet! Was going to see how it was before making a decision. I am the worlds biggest outdoor bag obsessive, so this is the perfect excuse for something new 😂

@TiRed anything you recommend? Just arrived at work hotter than I’d have liked, in a large part due to my rucksack! Thinking I need something that will take my laptop and change of clothes for when I take it away for work.

Laptop only, I recommend the small roll top bag. The old one was smaller but is discontinued. The new one has a nicer handle. You'll struggle to get a change of clothes in it, but undies and a top OK. There is a larger version now.

I also had the original large bag with two rear pockets. It was enough for overnight trips, but heavy. I'm a big fan of Ortlieb and a used O-bag off eBay would be a good start. I have the same Downtown on a commuter, and that will take a laptop and clothes (no shoes).

Luggage carrying is THE best part of the Brompton. My folding Mezzo can't take my Brompton bag, so I use a rucksack and don't like it. My fixed wheel Tactic can, and Dahon and others have also adopted the standard luggage block. It's that good!
