Wondering what people have been running for enduro racing.

Ive got a narrow/wide ring coming tomorrow and im going to run with a clutch mech.

Do people run a top guide for extra security or just a clutch mech and no guide?

Thanks

I dont race, but I happily rattle my way down rocky trails/dropoffs on my hardtail. I have a clutch mech and narrow/wide chainring and that's all. No dropped chain in 4 months of use.

Been running a narrow wide with a clutch mech on my hardtail, not done an enduro yet, first one is this weekend, but done a DH race without any problems.

Similar to above. Been running a Wolftooth NW ring and XT clutch mech for the past 3 1/2 months with no problems. The chain did drop once on a DH track but I realised at the bottom that I'd forgotten to switch on the clutch after removing/re-fitting the wheel prior to setting off. I'd be happy to ride any Enduro race without a guide.
