Hi
Is a narrower saddle a good idea for getting low behind my MTB? I have the feeling that my current saddle (Giant Contact) is getting in the way. If so, a recommendation for a low cost alternative would be great.
Cheers.

The saddle should suit your backside when pedalling.
A dropper post gets it out of the way when descending. You shouldn't need to spend that much time low over the back wheel.
