... very impressed so far.

Got a Works Components ring recently and rode for 5 hours on Friday during some coaching with Jedi, doing Jumps, Drops and other bits that I expected it to drop the chain on and I forgot I had it on.

Not even running it with a clutch mech - SRAM X5...

Are you running a top chainring guide?

Bike park wales yesterday and had two chain drops. X7-clutch mech race face wide narrow.

That's the only 2 in 2 months

Don't need a top guide. Though clutch reduces chain slap.

If you're getting chain drop, check the chain length is right and also if the chain is worn. Mine started dropping after 6 months but turned out the chain was worn. New chain, no drops. Got Works Component rings o both bikes and been running them nearly a year now, and still work fine.

And nice Jedi tricks there 8)

Cheers Deadkenny

Jule - No top guide - nothing just chainring, rear mech and standard chain (wasn't even new)

Been out today and did some tech DH runs on it and no issues. Previously did the same before I had a chainguide with a normal chainring and every run it would come off. Well impressed.
