I'm currently running some 2.1" Maxxis Beavers on one of my bikes. They are great, but the rear is just too lightweight and I've torn the sidewalls twice in as many rides. This means I'm having to run it with a tube, whereas I'd love to take advantage of the tubeless.
So what, narrow (2.1" max) but tough tyres are there? Do they exist?
Why 2.1" max?
try the specialized fast trak at 2.0, get em cheap as well, don't appear to be available in grid but I have a control and it's great so far, 3 weeks in. 2bliss for tubeless!
2.1" to get my 27.5" wheels into my 26" frame!
My 26" Storm Controls held up pretty well, so that's an option, thanks.
