High Street was a very difficult hike a bike then a really long traverse & gradual descent which wasn't very techy.

Nan Bield - I did some research & found the best route and only done it once. Staveley > Green Quarter > Gatesgarth > Harter Fell > Nan Bield > Kentmere.

Back to Staveley on the Road because I've heard that 3 Rivers is sanitised now.

Harter Fell to Nan Bield Pass is VERY techy. The descent to Kentmere from Harter Fell is huge and starts off hard and generally gets progressively easier as it goes on, if I remember right.

If you go via Harter Fell then the top bit is more tech than 911
Don't think there's many who can ride it all
After that its a bit easier

What Nobeer said for sure.

If you still want more fun to finish, head up Wansfell Pike for a grassy swoopy finish to the South and back on to Jenkins Cragg or the steep pitched drop to the West for tech and control

We done it starting at Hawes Water.
Nan Bield, Mardale Ill Bell, High Street, Thornthwaite Crag, Frostwick, Ill Bell, Yoke, Garburn Pass, Kentmere then back up and over Gatescarth Pass.

Ill Bell to Nan Bield is very tricky! I walked a lot and went over the bars a lot

did nobeers's route on sunday evening although started from ings so missed out ambleside/troutbeck and also missed out 3 rivers as its not worth riding now. its not far from thornthwaite to high street if you really want to go to the summit and then on to nan bield but you don't gain anything riding wise. harter fell is our normal route but this one is good as well.
