I thought I remembered it being Ti as it is quite dark in colour, but it must just be stainless.

I've got 2 Nickless Cages and they last forever. One cracked a weld a few years ago but I just silver soldered it back together and it is still going strong. Wish they still made them 🙁
They are slightly magnetic (with a strong magnet from an old hard drive) so that is an easy way to tell if they are ss or ti.
