Hello,
My good lady has a 2018 Scott Spark 720. The rear hub is grinding badly and needs new bearings. According to the bike spec blurb (Evans) the hub is a Syncros XR2.5 CL.
Normally at this point I’d google it, find an exploded diagram, source bearings, then try to fit them with bodged tools. Can I find any info of this hub? Can I balls!
After much googling I think I might be confusing hub with wheel, and that the hub might be a DT Swiss job, but the absence of info is concerning - normally I’d be watching a bearing fitting YouTube video by now.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I am generally fairly competent at bike maintenance - barring an early effort to service some air forks which ended up with them stuck in the ceiling of my garage (note to self: release air before undoing). All I need are a couple of bearings...
TIA
Will
Is it this bike?

If so it's a Formula hub and the only way you'll find out is by taking the old bearings out and reading what's on the seals. If it's the same as my centrelock boost Formula hub it might be 2x 6903s in the hub body and 2x 6902s in the freehub but I can't guarantee that as Formula do so many different hubs.
If they are actually Syncros 2.5 CLs they're probably DT 370s-

In which case, the sizes will be on Google.
That’s it. And thanks for the info, really helpful. I might have some of those bearings lying around, the numbers ring bells.
Cheers!
Westbrooke cycles have a Scott parts finder and are really helpful.

I also have formula hubs and yup no diagrams or support From formula
Cheers towzer
Looks like it's the same as the 'Sram' MT746 hub which is rebranded Formula.
Due to the preload system in those hubs, we've been using angular contact bearings (7903 IIRC) to replace the OEM bearings. The stock bearings aren't really designed for this purpose. They are meant for systems that have fixed preload built into them. The AC bearings have been lasting well with the people who agreed to be 'guinea Pigged'.
