I know that the tire needs replacing before anyone says anything but am just really curious as to what these holes are from that, as you can see, the sealant is leaking from.
They keep appearing after every wash and are around the whole circumference of the tire.
Thanks to anyone who puts my curiosity to rest 😂
I've even tried looking at the page source - can't see a pic anywhere
... so I'm going with rats in the shed
Rats live in kitchens, as any fule kno.
Tire? Probably American rats.
It'll be the squirrels then (grey)
I saw on FB that 5G is making tyres excrete Covid and sealant which is worrying.
The sealant makers are bribing the tyre makers. 😉
That tyre is weeping at its own death, which I estimate will have occurred about a year ago
That tyre is no more! It has ceased to be! It's expired and gone to meet it's maker! It's a stiff! Bereft of life, it rests in peace! If you hadn't nailed it to the perch it'd be pushing up the daisies! It's metabolic processes are now history! It's off the twig! It's kicked the bucket, It's shuffled off this mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THIS IS AN EX-TYRE!!
Someone's been hammering really small frozen sausages into it.
Sealant leaking from random places you say? Let me know if you figure it out...
It's heard your drive crying for lubrication and is doing it's best to help ?
My God op!
You should be reported for abuse!
That poor tyre.😆
Wife is still running some conti tyres that although remain inflated, do leave little brown stains on the garage floor.
Pity to have to bin that tyre. It's just hitting the sweet spot where it rolls nearly as fast as a slick. Just keep adding sealant. Make sure you don't pump it up on the patio though.
Was that a new tyre @tomhoward? I've a WTB that does that even after a years usage. Wish I'd bought the heavier dual ply version.
Nah, was a couple of years old, wasn’t terrible at staying up either, kept it for another year before selling it with the wheels...
I hate tyres that do that. Have a theory it drys the sealant out. That same wtb tyre punctured and would not seal as the sealant had dried out, not 4 days after I topped it up.
What sealant do/did you use.
