Riding to work, when BANG!!!! The rear tyre came off the rim. Running tubeless rim with Nobby Nic ust. I assume the bead has failed. Anyone else had this happen?

strange, how old was the tyre? what rims? had any big hits recently?

The tyre wasn't new but wasn't on it's last legs either. The rims are mavic crosslands. No really big hits that i can think of. Reading the above thread is quite an eye opener, will have to rethink my choice of tyres from now i think
