Those two bony bits either side of the sheriffs star. Never had it before. Finally getting some good miles in on the new bike. I presume it's the saddle.

Is "saddle" the word you're looking for?

Would you like me to move this to the bike forum?

Keep riding, it is your arse getting used to it, it will get better. Apply Germoline before / after.

Have you still got the saddle from your previous bike? If so, swap them. Presuming you didn't have this issue before?

Or if you haven't ridden for a while, it'll take quite a few rides for your sit bones to get used to the whole idea again.

Get your ar53 measured & check the saddle width - it's likely a case that the saddle is the wrong size or possibly it's the right size but it's the first time you've actually had one where you're actually sitting on your sit bones.
