Heres a couple of poor pictures of my new pugsley. I'm posting these with a thankyou to everyone who posted any advice for me with the build. Pugsleys are not the easiest things to get advice on and neither are Rohloff hubs, so when you combine the two along with offset wheels, rear hubs in the front, 100mm bottom brackets etc. etc. getting help becomes ever more difficult and even your bike shop need help. So a big thanks to everyone and yes the effort was worth it.
Cheers

Looking good.

You might want to try a Larry on the front though. 😉

Feel free to post picture of it up on Fat Bikes Flickr

Can't get a larry till the end of march unless I want to pay through the nose ( eighty odd quid ) but point taken and action already underway, the endos do grab and pull a bit in the front.

I picked a Larry* up on friday for quite a bit less that the £85 list price. 😀

To go with the other three Larrys I've got.

Enjoy your Pug! 😮
Good you left the bars high as they seem to ride better with that set up,
Larry front is a great upgrade on steering,
Try giving The Bike Chain in Edinburgh a phone about a Larry, there planning on stocking tyres and stuff in the future, maybe get one there or maybe sooner

SSS

Where did you get your Larrys and for how much if you don't mind me asking, I understand if it's a secret.

Nice.
Are you using a Monkeybone on the Rohly? How's it behave with the track-end dropouts? When I tried using a speedbone on a Cotic Simple, I had to release the brake caliper bolts everytime i took the wheel out 🙁

"quite a bit" of a discount then?

I get some wee discounts but I'm not loyal enough to them.

Are these the ones that charge £18 for cables, instead of nothing, and charge to fit them?

I think you're confusing me with Tollah.

We don't even live near each other never mind use the same shop. 🙄

My LBS is owned by a mate from way back in the BMX days. 😉

where is Garlton Hills Ridge Road? That ruin could come in handy for a shoot I've got to get done.

MrNutt; The Ridge Road is in East Lothian.
20 miles east on the A1 from Edinburgh. The ruin is called the Vaults, just East of Barney Mains Farm. They were built in 1470 as a fortified Grange. Very scenic area with great views of the county,
There is some images of it here at 2mins,55 secs on this film...
