I just couldn't bring myself to sell it, so I did a refurb job. It climbs and handles brilliantly as it always did, but now has the added benefit of disc brakes and some nice light forks.

BTW, that's not my garden so I can't accept any criticism on the weeds or choice of stone for the obelisk.

Cool, just like my one and only MTB. When you stop reading the blub and step away from the net and ride, you realize this is all you need.

All my old stuffs just about to go onto one of them modern Scandals.

Beauty! I think your bike looks utterly fab! And I'm sure the ride matches the look - nimble and fast. How are you finding the front? Any tuck at slower speeds?, or are the forks helping that? Or mebbe you never had any in the first place? I'll stop there. 😉

For me, Klein made fat tubes sexy with curves and stunning paint finish - but then I love skinny one's too 😀

i agree with oldgit, all u really need is a good solid, hardtail and u can ride anywhere. trouble i have is, marketing really gets to me and i like buying crap i really dont need.

That's a proper looking mtb, I'd have sold a limb back in the early 90's to have a Klein as i loved the internal cable routing and fat alloy tubes with the most wtf? paintjobs, but i had to settle for a marin indian fire trail which is still going strong.

Cracking looking bike, can easily hold it's own with todays hydroformed monsters.

Very nice indeed, but the chain should be on the big ring for photos. 😉

I was going to follow the 'rules', but I thought it might look like I was trying too hard.

It's a shame Klein disappeared as they made some fantastic bikes.

*come back Gary we miss you* 😥
