Just though you might like to see some pics of my new nomad. I was lucky enough to get knocked off (and survive) and the drivers insurance paid out for my damaged bike meaning I could put the money towards this.
It has light bicycle carbon rims, raceface six-c carbon bars and cranks. Almost every hope purple bit I could get (seat clamp on order). 150mm reverb stealth.
It weighs 27lb / 12.23kg and absolutely flies downhill and is very good uphill too.
It’s my first 650b bike and in that respect I'm totally disappointed. At no point have I noticed any benefit of the slightly larger wheels it just feels like a really good bike.
The only downside so far is pedal strikes. I thought I was used to them coming from my giant trance but this strikes a lot more and a lot harder. I think I may need a bit more pressure in the shock but I'm sure I’ll adjust my riding accordingly.

That's very nice. I would have drawn the line at matching grips and brakes, but each to their own.

My OCD is very upset about the orange clutch button on the rear mech. Otherwise, very nice indeed 🙂

camerone. How do you find the pedal strikes?

I was unsure about the purple grips. Glad I did now though as I really like them. Got too many bikes with boring black grips.

Really nice, don't think I'm too much of a bike breaker to have something this nice.

Pedal strikes are an issue, but you'll get used to them. What I mean is you will adapt quickly and stop doing it so often...Try to get used to it before bunging more air in the can- well sagged works better in my opinion...

Nice bike, stand let's it down though. You spent all that money on decent gear and skimp on the stand??
Where's those woods/trails?

Very swish!

Pity the same can't be said for the dead sailor wearing the bright blue t shirt and fluorescent crash helmet. 😀

This.
Although the purple stem spacers might be one step too far for me 😉

Very nice indeed but you really do need to strip down the mech, take out the lever, book it in for re-anodizing,post it off recorded delivery(with a jockey wheel for perfect match),wait for a week and rebuild clutch to make it perfect.
Just saying like... 😆
Or give hope a call.Biscuits work well iv'e found with them..

Very nice, slightly overboard on the purple and those fork graphics don't go.

I'd still take it though.

First Nomad I've seen that I really like.

But I am mentally blacking out the yellow fork decal.

Quantity of purple is spot-on IMO.

Thanks for all the comments. The forks are only temporary until I get some new 36's. I have put some more miles on it since posting and I'm more pleased with it every time I ride it. I could pretty much get rid of all my other bikes (excluding road bike and commuter) and this would do everything I want and more.
I always new the purple would divide opinion but i really like it. I'm wondering if I could actually get the clutch mech switch anodised purple now. I have a broken mech that I could get the switch off.

That looks really nice!

I am regretting buying a medium nomad now after trying a large last week. Right on the borderline at 5'9" and should have gone with my instinct.

I was worried about the size as I had to buy without a test ride. I had to base my decision on my chameleon being a large and fitting perfectly but the large Branson I demo'd was far too small and has the reputation of being too small for the given size.

I meant bronson above not Branson. I have never ridden Branson.

Either you don't have kids or you've got a very severe case of OCD.

I'm 5'11" with long arms. I was going to try a 50mm stem but the 70 feels perfect.

Now all I can look at on that Chameleon is the clutch mech lever.
