I ordered this fork last week and it just landed today.
It's an X-Fusion Slant RL2. I definitely ordered a 26 inch fork with 100mm travel.
I've never had X-Fusion before. They look the part, feel really nice, lightweight, I'm pretty happy with them.
Except, look at the size of that arch gap...

It really feels like they've sent me a 27.5 fork.
It looks like when I used to run a 24"inch wheel in a normal fork.
What do we reckon?
And no, I haven't fitted the crown race properly until I know Ive got the right fork.
And yes, that is a 1998 Bomber Z1 in the background from when things were much simpler.
Slants are 26 only aren't they?
I don't have X fusion forks but I think you are right about them being for 27.5".
I think the slant can/could run 26 or 650b with a change to the internals and combined with your tire's low tread depth it just looks a bit roomier than normal.
Slant can clear 27.5, with a spacer to limit travel.
I'd get that crown race fitted properly though - doesn't look to have be drifted onto the fork all the way.
You know what, in my rising panic, I didn't even think to check the X-Fusion website!
The Slant is definitely listed as a 26 inch only fork. But, looking at these pics it could easily handle bigger.
Then I thought to check the Transition website. It gives you the axle to crown measurement of the full bike with the very expensive Pike Dj fork as 482mm. So I got out my big metal ruler and with the greatest possible accuracy it looks bang on 482. Which is unbelievable. I wanted the Pike but it's obscenely expensive for what it is.
So I'm happy I think. I'll knock the crown race on and chop the steerer tomorrow.
Remember and post up some pics when you have finished the build.
The Slant arch is huge and will take a 27.5 wheel & tyre. However, there's very little clearance between 27.5 tyre and crown when the fork is fully compressed, so Xfusion backed away from saying the Slant is 27.5 compatible.
As above- sort that crown race out!
I'd get that crown race fitted properly though

Can I refer you back to my first post?

Really looking forward to riding this thing. Haven't had a bike like this for years.
I run a Slant on a Blue Pig at 140mm with a much bigger tyre (2.35 minion) and there's still loads of clearance.
Mines a 2013 I think, and runs about 10mm of stanchion that isn't actually part of the travel. Don't know if this changed on later models.
For the money they're brilliant. I prefer my Pike on my other bike but not sure I'd pay the extra if I was buying a fork aftermarket. I had a warranty issue very early on (blown damper) that was replaced without charge - and have run them since without servicing them. Still working great. Thumbs up.
Do you ride off road with that tyre? At this time of year? in the uk?

I suspect if you rode that bike on trails* at this time of year you'd find yourself buried under the tabletop by angry** builders.
*it's a jump bike
**riding in the wet trashes trails, knobly tyres trash dry trails
I can see some bombers. I did read your first post
Earlier X-fusion forks could take both 26 and 650b, my Vengeance is the same.
In recent years the money men seem to have put a stop to this and you've now got 26 and 650b specific items.
Yeah, what everyone else said. They used to be compatible with both 26" and 27.5" (with an internal adjustment to the. Ottom out bumper). I believe they still use the same dimensions but aren't advertised as 27.5" compatible anymore. You will find the axle to crown measurement significant,y longer than other forks.
I have a 26" 2.35 Hans Damf in mine (which blows up huge) and still have plenty of clearance.
