Hi guys Ive got another video for you lot. I have tried some new camera angles, can you let me know what you think. Also if you've got any ideas on different angles/mounts. I decided to go with no music rather then some crappy copyright free stuff. Hope you enjoy.

Quick collection of thoughts (hopefully sounding constructive) I don't do the best vids myself...

Variety is better than one camera position

Skills pissing around day vs same trails shot from lid all the way

Lift the camera up more than you think, I got it wrong on some of those ones and you end up trying to look up as you watch it.
Whats with the GoPro intro? Just not sure why you have it?
On the static stuff cut it tighter, there is a long time wondering what is going to happen
Down tube mount? Don't quite get it, probably better suited to some longer air time

But trail looks fun 🙂

Much, much tighter editing required. Go for fast straight cuts rather than fades and cut right to the action rather than empty trail. It'll make the video shorter (which is good because we have the attention span... where was I?) and helps build a sense of tension and excitement. Raw sound is good, but i'd just go for something copyright and hope youtube moneitise it rather than block it....

Vimeo has a mass of tracks available for free on CC licesne
https://vimeo.com/musicstore
Some good stuff in there, another mate suggested the SXSW music DownLoad for music you can use
http://gizmodo.com/time-to-get-your-free-10-33gb-of-sxsw-music-1766088947
Just need to attribute most of it

I thought it was ok, maybe one or two gaps, but not that bad IMO. Chest mount was too low I've too much bike frame showing. I liked the down tube mount bit, but almost too much of it, and only works in bends really. Have you tried that position on a rocky decent etc so you can actually see the suspension working ?

Not sure which S/W you are using, but the pan and zoom option of Moviemaker will add some dynamic for the tripod views.

Thanks. No havn't tried it on rough stuff yet. I'm going to give it another go this weekend. On some bigger jumps and will try some rocks as well.

I'm using the GoPro studio. Do you know if that has a pan feature as well?

From looking at your videos on youtube they are getting better for sure. I like the "raw" edits. Looking forward to your next one.

Thanks. I just got back from whistler and think I got some good footage. So hopefully put something together soon.

Definitely needs some tighter edits. They really help move things on, even if the trails are pretty tame.
