In an effort to regain the fitness lost through injury the credit card has had a beating this month. A turbo trainer to put the old road bike to some use and now this:-
Using it for my commute (either 6 miles up and down or 9 miles fairly flattish depending on which office I work at). I took it for it's first ride today and it's a really comfortable compliant ride. Not sure about the conti tyres though - a bit all over the place in the wet this afternoon.
I must always buy the right conti tyres. I've never had a problem with their grip, although I've heard lots of people complain about them.
If you want tyres that let go easy, try Specialized, crazy loose.
Looks like a fun bike though. I'm very concerned about the stem/bars arrangement but no doubt you'll listen to me after someone has shot you for that one.
WTF is going on with those bars and controls?
Echo Druidh - what happened there! A million spacers then the most bizarre brake placement I think I've seen - looks like someone has melted your bars!

Really? I've found those on my Langster to be quite good so far. I've ridden in rainy conditions as well, although mainly in straight lines/gradual corners...
looks like u need to lose the spacers, a shorter stem and then roll the bars up, and u'll be in the same position but with more options on the bars
but if ur happy with that position then fair do's, everyone is different
