Nice. Have a hankering for some winter Ti myself 🙂
No lights or mudguards, and stem...
Otherwise well done.
Is it just me or should you have gone for a bigger frame?! 🙂
Nice bike.
All those points will be fixed soon njee
Have you been fitted?
Done a grand total 200 metres so far.
Was this how far you got until your back began to ache? 🙂
But I can confirm it looks [s]amazing[/s] too small
Yep. Fitted specifically for that bike. Long legs short arms. All my bikes look a bit odd
Posh? Planet-x?
Wheels are a bit jazzy... Get it fettled and it'll be nice 🙂

FTFY 😉
since when has planet-x ever been posh?
or is it cos it's one up from a ribble?
:-p
agree, on the wheels, too much stickerage, otherwise very nice 🙂
looks nice, i'm a similar shape, but couldn't comprehend a +ve stem angle.
I thought same about wheels too. Gonna try pull the stickers off.
Gonna try pull the stickers off.
A true pimp would do no such thing. 👿 😉
Nice bike, fella.
You must also be blessed with enormous testicles judging by your preferred saddle angle 🙂
Yes I do
How do you find the 586 rides?
Blimey, a 26er road bike 8)
That look has a positive stem as well. Is that so you both don't bang your knee pads against the handlebars?
is that the Large (57cm)?

Wow, who fitted you? The saddle angle looks a bit wrong to start with...
Stem's still wrong on the summer bike.
isn't this how Mark Cavendish sets up his bikes too? 😉
short arms? stem looks long as well whole bike looks small set up that way .Lots of mine look wrong because im really tall and nothing fits !
There aren't many times that I think custom frames are needed, but this is one of them. Need a much longer head tube to be honest. The drop looks about 2.5 bricks, but is exagerated by the camera angle.
And you need some guards 😉 . I'll post a picture of mine later.
Rim brakes on a winter bike?
😛
The 586 has a 0 deg stem. Just looks up because of the head angle (so technically it is). The photo was taken when I bought the saddle so hadnt got it level. It is now. I thought the saddle was level on the Planet X was level when I looked in the shop. Maybe its a strange angle. Will get my spirit level out.
The Look rides like a dream. It just wants to climb. So light. And it looks great which is really the most important thing. Got to say though, the seatpost doesnt help for a comfy ride.
Winter road bikes....nice.
Call that a winter bike?

THIS, is a winter bike.
Stems on the right way too. Ye I know I have a wonky saddle, you wanna fight about it?
The above are all bikes you choose to ride in the winter. Surely a winter road bike must have clearance for full guards.
Cheers drive, yes, fair one
Nope, that still looks very wrong

Yes agree - if it aint got proper full mudguards with a mudflap it's not classed as a winter bike. None of those 'race guards' allowed either. 🙂
Sorry Cheers_drive - but you need to add a front mud flap to qualify as a proper winter bike according to the UCI rules 😉
OP : nice looking frame, although i agree wi others that the wheels do need the stickers removed.
And seeing we are on a winter bike battle fest "mine is more winter than yours" here's mine, full mudguards? - check.......rack? - check.....Panniers?.....gasp! - Check.....10 + degree stem? - check......odd bars? - check......strange seat angle? - nope, my balls hang quite normally thank you very much.
To be honest, none of them are real winter bikes as they all have gears 😈 . My proper winter bike is fixed wheel, has rack and permanent full mudguards. My pretend winter bike looks like the OP's - except for the seatpost and stem issues. And is made of brushed alloy. And is sitting in the dining room sporting some 45cm deep section wheels to race at Hillingdon tomorrow. It does have a permanent light mounting on the saddle and handlebars though 😉
Soma funk, that ones got disc brakes so it's not a road bike, nice, but needs to be mini-genred into being a cyclo-smooth bike or gravel racer or something. Or free cross. Or road extreme. Or back country road.
And the hoods are too low on that kinesis.
Proper winter road bike (tape is now black)
Far too clean to be a proper winter bike 🙂
Somafunk, do like those Tripsters. Panniers though, does that not move a bike out of winter trainer into commuter territory?
Thanks for the info on the 586 ...
Posh winter road bike?
Campag Record 10spd (still the best imho) - tick
Rotor 3D chainset with Q-Rings - tick
Carbon bars and seatpost - tick
Carbon railed saddle (Prologo Scratch Nack) - tick

(oh, and it's still for sale as well 😉 - frame/fork/headset/guards/seatpost as a package)
..............and it's spotlessly clean!
I've just added some carbon bottle cages this afternoon (a nice pair of Arundel Dave-O's). Proper posh.
Oooo, a white square. Laaaaverly 🙂
