Just built thsi up - bit of a dream machine really....for me at least!

Lynskey Ridgeline LT Ti frame (bargain from CRC)
Fox 32 Talas QR15
Easton Monkeylite carbon bars
Thomson stem & post (silverv stem on order - will look even pimpier!)
RaceFace Deus cranks/BB, Renthal 34t ring
Sram XO rear mech, X9 shifter, Sram Redwin cassette
WTB Vigi saddle
WTB wheels

Only given it a quick baz round the block so far - but wow - well chuffed!

Now, it's te to take out on Sat with the kids so I'll have to get a 2nd bike for that....mmmmm, more shiny things to come....!

Very nice. You sure you dont need a chain guide of some kind? When I ran 1x9 i dropped my chain until I stuck a front mech back on.

It seems ok - I was running this set up on my Yeti 4X (now sold) and it ran fine - I think it's because the Renthal rings have very tall teeth which seem to stop the chain dropping....but I'll see how it goes...

If I'm honest, I want to keep it as clean and uncluttered as possible, so didn't want a mech or device on there...so I hope the chain does stay on!

That made me feel funny in a way that bikes seldom manage to achieve.

Very nice - just built up my own 1*10 XTc - pics and details to be loadded on the weekend.

Can't decide whether to add a chain device or not....running an e13 34t chain ring - I guess time will tell!

Fab bike 😀

Be very interested to see how you get on without a chainguide.

Nice looking frame that. Good work on the valves/logos too 🙂

I personally would have to have a black seatpost to match the stem & forks as I have component OCD.

Is that an 18 inch frame? I'm seriously considering one.

Thanks loddrik...

kiwijohn - its a Medium...which measures 17" centre to top and top tube is about 22.5"...these are way smaller dimensions than shown on the CRC site but I'd been warned about that already....I'm 5'10" and it's set up for me in the pics (although as of this morning it now has a 90mm silver Thomson stem rather than the 70mm shown)...silver for much the same reason as Retro83 mentions above!!!

😀
