[Closed] My neighbours gate....(one for the old bike fans)

Well it is a bit on the ungainly side.

My neighbour brought round his brothers old bike he'd resurrected from his brothers garage and asked if I could get it working again.

After stripping it down I found most of the components to be in great condition and very little marking on the frame. Only issue was cracked shifters and on and on from the forum sorted me out with a set in great condition (thanks btw).

Fitted new cables, bar tape and tyres I had spare as the originals had cracked and delivered to a very pleased neighbour on Saturday. Beer and cake delivered later in appreciation.

Took it for a spin on Saturday and it really is a lovely ride, I forgot how nice a good steel frame feels.
