On Monday I done the longest cycle of my adult life. Still feeling it in my legs now!
I made this film of my ride.

There's a wee write up and some photos here.

Stunning scenery.
Your a lucky lucky man.
Great blog.

I refueled with a pie, some cakes and a can of Bru

So you do actually drink Irn Bru in Scotland then...
I thought it was just a myth. Good stuff. đŸ˜€

Can you pronounce "gerrrderrrrs" correctly...

I hitherto post the following taken on my solo night ride last night, around the wilds of Lichfield, in the Shire of Stafford.

All was going well, lovely night for a ride. Till I flatted on the south face of Hopwas Hill. Not to worry thought I, I have a spare tube...
A 20" tube it turns out, for my lads Islabike.
Believe it or not, with a lot of swearing, I managed to get it inside a 2.4" Racing Ralph 29er...briefly. Had no repair kit so had to bail & get picked up. Nice night for a ride though.

Beans on Toast & several mugs of Tetley being my reward.

Aye, everyone up here loves Irn Bri. Goes with any meal and cures hangovers. Great stuff.

He didn't drink the Bru, he injects it, microdosing if you like. That's how he can manage a 21mph average speed.

Well that's 5 minutes I'm not going to get back and the sight of HouseHusband in lycra is going haunt me for a lot longer. It was like Rupert the Bears camp brother. There was a lot more homo eroticism than in most bike videos. Yer stunt double is good at wheelies though.

Aye, the yak can wheelie when he's not being a pain in the arse.
MussEd - Aye, its Tantallon, must have been getting tired writing that bit. Cheers!
Thanks again for the comments everyone.
