Simply printout the below so the measurements match.

place template onto an old inner tube and cut out.

you'll also need 4 zip ties to secure the mudguard onto your forks.

post your pics once done 😉

I usually just use a rectangle with holes in each corner, 2 zip ties onto the brace, 2 onto the crown. What does that funny shaped thing do that mine doesn't?

Well I think it's a very nice helpful thing to do.

I like the little Stanley knife in the corner.

if I had the measurements between the brace & crown of 120/130/160 I'll add them too 😉

I can't visualise how it goes on a fork. Where do the 'ears' go?

currently, I'm using old ice-cream tub cut to shape and held on with two cable ties instead of inner tube.

Nice idea but didn't work for me
My printer jammed when I fed my inner tube in
Need a new printer now, would have been cheaper to buy a neoguard 😉

you wrap the "ears" around the brace a few times (from the front over to the back) then wrap the bottom around the crown (from the front over to the back)

I'll try and get some pics

anyone got any pics of their innertube mudguard mounted on forks? I'm assuming it stops water/mud coming off the front tyre at that 45degree angle that sparays back in your face? Crud catcher still needed though for spray on to underlegs?

...there's a dim light starting to glow above my head...

the "ears" wrap around & under them selves if that makes sense? then pop a zip tie through the hole & over the ears and around

I think it's a great template, my effort was definitely a lot more "botch" than this 😳

or, make a rear-facing [s]crown[/s] (sorry, BRACE) fender from an old race number.

only about 1000 times better than a bit of old inner-tube flapping around your tyre.

Thanks for the nice template Sefton. Unfortunately, it is wider than the tube I have available. I run tubeless, so I guess that I'll have to get an old tube from a friend that runs 2.5s or something.
