After some years working for other events a special venue came my way via family friends (the owner is a pro road rider with NFTO). initially I took Pat Adams there to see it about doing something. He loved the venue and started the ball rolling; 'you should do your own and I'll support you!'
18 months down the line after many meetings with trustees, land agents etc I am very pleased to announce a Day of CX racing on 14th Feb 2015. We have loads on offer and Castelli, ENVE & Felt are our headline sponsors ,which is fantastic, as they are really involved from planning to prizes. It should be a good day out for racers and spectators alike!
Check it out

How are you going to separate out the V50 from the Seniors and V40? I really suggest that you change the V50 to being the same length of time as the others.
Sorry theres a glitch on the site and BC, will be updated this morning. Should be the same as trophy cats and times. V40 & V50 will be racing together.
Where is it? Don't ride CX but happy to help out with marshalling if u need it
Cheers RD, About 2 miles from Mayhem site! Address should be on the website 'event info'. Drop me a line, mail in profile!
good luck Tang!
Do you need a Commi? Herself and I are both regional cx commissaires....
Thanks Ap, my mate Vin Cox is on the coms and some flanderian friends are doing the couples relay in Flemmish!
Flemish....? that's niche!
Its a bit of fun for the couples relay, no baton but a kiss. Make sure you are happy kissing your partner!
Comi yes! Our local BC guy is grant .
Looks good, saw this on the BC site, and am planning to make it my first cross race.
Where are the pits going? Two singles or a double?
Just finalising the pits(couple of options with running water) when we sign off the course just after xmas, I have my plans and know what we can use on the site, the elite and pro riders I've got on board will put the final touches in to make sure its tasty for racing. No point throwing a load of features that we have here on a lap and they not work for good hard racing! I've convinced the owners to let us include the gravel drive!
Tarmac/gravel/woodlandx2/open parkland and a massive bank will feature. Follow on the social media links and pics will be coming up soon!
Cats and times all ammended on web and BC.
Castelli are doing a very special one off winners jersey for the top step in each cat. Grit.cx will be manning the top deck of the 'Big Red Bus Bar' and an old friend (ex pro bmx racer from the states) is bringing his excellent velo bakery, aside from chips & mayo expect wood fired pizza and fresh baked croissant and bagels. More to come...

Winners Catelli jersey for the top step in all cats. More happening on twitter & Instagram @lovecrossedcx
Course is done and might have a little edit out this week. Prize package is looking nice too!
Got a little Twitter comp going atm. Smith overtake helmet and smith optics shades worth over £300 check @lovecrossedcx on Twitter to be in the mix!
Course is looking nice, had 3 guys from BC yesterday all went well except a massive gloucester old spot pig had escaped and took a fancy to them, chased them over two fields!
Looks like a fair sized custom builders contingent coming, racing and displaying. Plus there might be a Lovecrossed special on display, we have a super build kit from ENVE/SRAM/King and a stainless tubeset..
Other news: Friend and ex BMX pro will be here with his beautiful mobile wood fired oven. Expect freshly baked pastry and bagels, plus far out pizza. Also a fine showing of local ale from the bus bar.
Oh poo, in Pembrokeshire that weekend else I'd be up for that.
For future reference, can couples share a bike? I think we only have the one between us that'd qualify, might need to fit a dropper post..
yes for sure! the only requirement will be a snog on changeover. If you are happy to snog your team mate/ riding partner then enter away!
