the excess weight i carry on my torso has always been very solid and firm.
when i jumped up and down or jogged, it did not move much.
i am nearly 2.5 stones lighter than i was 6 week ago thanks to a certain lifestyle eating plan.
but, all the fat on my torso has now gone very blubbery and loose.

any idea's why?

Loose skin that used to be stretched over your gut... due to losing the weight very quickly

Think of your skin as an inner tube and your fat as the air. When you let some air out of the tube, it goes floppy.

Or - it's osmosis. That diet has made your skin more porous and you absorbing moisture from the atmosphere.

Man, did you ever see Nigel Lawson when he shed a shit load of weight?

Your skin needs time to tighten itself up again. I mean are your clothes not baggy too?

your skin was stretched for quite a few years, so it'll take time to 'recede'

my dad has the same thing, lost 3.5 stone.

I've got a bit of saggy skin as well but not as bad as it could have been considering how massive I was, luckily I lost all my weight really slowly so its had time to shrink down again!

Shrink wrap, cellophane???

Seroiusly Ton, well done and don't worry it should shrink back if the weight stays off.

a little bit of evidence that using liquorice cream on the skin helps. don't quote me on it though.

Don't fret Ton, I lost 5 stone in 4 months and looked like a proper fat skinny guy. I've managed to get my weight back upto 70kg again but it took a while for the skin to tighten back up again. If all else fails, a bit of selotape will do the trick, its seethrough so no one will ever know 😉
