It now says on tracking: "The shipment was misrouted and could not be delivered. The shipment will be readdressed and forwarded to the recipient."

I was hoping to have my shiny new XT 1x11 bits today or tomorrow really.

Anybody had this with DHL? Did it all work out fine?

Depends on whether it was misrouted to Delhi or Derby I suspect.

Wasn't much of a delay - was a bit weird to see my tyres wandering off into Italy for a couple of days though

Nah, it'll be fine. They actually know where it is. It's probably been scanned when being loaded/offloaded in the wrong place.

It's when the tracking suddenly stops being updated that you need to worry.

The shipment has arrived at the delivery depot.

Fingers crossed for today then.

My experience of DHL is that they are one of the better ones. Their online tracking is superb. I tracked my new phone all the way from China and saw it had been signed for by [admin. assistant's name]. I went downstairs and she had it, saying it had only been delivered about 2 minutes earlier.

Mmm, I'm not so convinced. I had a parcel misdelivered 5 times in a row recently by them because they had a problem with the address even though the address was correct and they had already delivered one of the parcels to that address :(. It seems to defend on exactly who you get. I avoid then of I have the choice

It's on the van from Liverpool now.

Can't help feeling it's gonna be a bit of an anticlimax when it does get here after all this build-up.
