Any ideas on how I can make my mw80s smell a bit fresher? They get net and muddy, get rinsed off and stuffed with news paper. Problem is, they seem to child this smell. Anyone know what to clean the insides with that isn't going to upset the gore-tex?

Make sure they are dry - stick em in a plastic bag then put them in the freezer for a few days (longer if you can) - kills all the smelly gribbly grobblies off for enhanced freshness

or some running shops have a special 'shoe autoclave'!
