I'm riding an Anthem X1 with 2x10 drivetrain. On my commute home tonight, chain pinged again.
I was riding up a short sharp incline in gear 2 x 4. Bang. Chain in the dust.
What's going on?
How old is your chain?
It was replaced each time!
Ramps on chainrings love munching chains. My SLX chainset has nasty ones and I cringe changing chainrings. This can bent the link, making a weakspot.
Did you buy all the chains in one hit-bad batch?
Or bent tooth on chainring or more likeley you are putting too much power through it whilst shifting and twisting a link every time hence bang chain bursts open again.
It's often the front mech twisting the plates so the pins come loose - are you shifting under high load?
Bad chainline?
Reckon there might be some dodgy (or even fake) KMC chains out there. Mine lasted for about 150 easy km before it snapped. 3 other friends had them go exactly the same (not at the quicklink, but halfway round).
edit: and mine was on new rings and new cassette too
Bent teeth on cassette?
Gears not dialled in?
because you have legs like this?

Are you splitting it and reinserting the pin? You cannot do this with 10spd chains, you have to use a quick link. Found out to my detriment!
