My cassette touches the spokes though, it came with spacers that I can put you keep the cassette from touching the spokes but it can only be fitted if one cog is left off, surely, something isn't right.
Please can someone explain. Have I been sent the wrong wheel?
That is a DH specific hub.
Designed to run 7 speed only.
The 150mm hub usually dh width, and tend to use reduced cassettes, so may not fit a full cassette.
What cassette is it?
Oh. Ta. Thought so.
So, either live with what I have, ( 10 speed minus 1 cog) or buy a new shifter, new cassette and new rear mech.
Checked the hope website there and it says 10/11 speed compatible.

Did you get what you actually ordered?
I had this with an XTR hub. I needed a really thin spacer behind the cassette and could still run all sprockets.
Looks quite a bit different...

Note how the freehub is recessed on the OPs photo. He has the 150mm DH hub. http://www.hopetech.com/product/pro-4-dh-rear-hub/
"Rear DH hub to suit narrow range cassette"
Send it back and get the right one. http://www.hopetech.com/product/pro-4-150mm-rear-hub/
as above, there are 2 hope 150mm pro4 hubs, the DH one is 7 speed only (that is the one you pictured)
Think I've been sent the wrong one.
Trouble is, it's now tubeless, on the bike rotor on etc!
Sent the wrong one or ordered the wrong one?
Probably important if trying to return it...
I'll keep it. I can't be bothered with the hassle, stripping it, returninb it, redoing another wheel tubeless, it's for a DH bike anyway.
The 10speed cassette with 1 cog missing will be fine.
surely the flanges are very different too. Did you calculate the spokes for that hub or the normal one?
Does that mean the largest cog is simply resting against the end of the spokes (where they are through the flange holes)?
It was bought as a complete wheel. For my Dh bike.
The box contained spacers so the cassette doesn't have to touch the spokes. It just can't take all the cogs. 1 cog in the draw.
Gotcha!
Of course, if you're only going downhill you don't even need 9 cogs.
