Mate used with a different pot, what a heap of pish
As in he just put a flat bottom pot directly on top of the burner? What did he think would happen?
https://www.alpkit.com/support/stickies/can-i-use-a-different-pan-on-my-brukit-burner
Good luck with the warranty claim...
Not that or he wouldnt have done it,melting is not covered by warranty
So what do you mean by 'used with a different pot' then?
It was one that came with a triaga stove, the Briukit pot was right beside it too
Sounds like straight user error then as the others above have suggested.
Ah, right .......... so this is some sort of public service announcement, just to make sure non of us turn out to be complete nobs (like your Mate clearly is !!)
HaHa
Thanks
(He's gonna hate you for this)
Yep!
Had to read this thread a few times myself.lol
So your not having a go at AK, rather for daft mate. 😀
Get him to buy you a new one.
Fair enough! 😀
I'm sure it's been done before,re getting him to buyi a new one,I will pass and stick to the pocket rocket
According to alpkit there new stoves come with a pan support to allow use with other pots
They did offer a discount on a new one and referenced the instructions,I knew I shouldn't have used them to light the fire
