Hi all,
Ive found a nice big crack on my Felt fatbike seatstay/BB weld. I've tried to contact Felt but they have so far managed to provide little help.
So, mainly options seem to be expensive and I want to swap things over from the current build, 197x12 rear end and Manitou Mastodon compatibility is key and ideally 100mm threaded BB. I've been eyeing up the chinese carbon jobs (a CS-197 from carbonspeed) but have also seen a nice 2017 Salsa Mukluk on ebay. Guy used to run Mastodons yet Salsa specifically say they wont fit on it. (The fork is so wide the crown hits the down tube on full lock).
Now I'm not doubting the guy as he sent me a picture of the bike with them on but has any one else fitted Mastodons on a Mukluk? Do they not always fit, is clearance super tight, what's the deal?
