Had a mucky nutz fender but it’s mangled and took it off and then got loads of mud in my face.

Thinking of getting a bolt on one for fox forks.

Anyone tried the mudhugger or RRP ones? Looks pretty similar.

Got both. RRP is better quality.

Have fitted both ro different bikes, I d say they are almost identical, maybe the RRP a bit more shaped and sturdy looking

Had both, prefer RRP, fits better for my Fox forks and slightly adjustable with the little shim they give you to get it aligned properly. I've got the shorter one and it's worked a treat, not even sure what additional benefit the longer one gives.

Only issue is they can be fragile depending on how you store the bike, if you chuck it in the back of a van and it's up against stuff it can get out of shape and rub the tyre, just keep an eye on that type of thing and you're fine, no issues for me when on top or at the back of the car, only when inside with the kiddies seats in, where it requires a little twist that knocks it a little.

Ive got an RRP Mini that I am selling as I am now using a Zeb fork for which I have the standard Rockshox short fender or a Mudhugger .

RRP is a better guard than either of them IMO

The RRP is IMO clearly better except for this one aspect, which is why I've just ordered a Mudhugger EVO to hopefully replace it on my Pike:

We’ve had the benefit of designing the new Mudhugger EVO around the latest FOX 36 and 38’s and Rockshox ZEB (not compatible with 38mm offset ZEB) to avoid the problem of the crown hitting the mudguard at full compression that other mudguards suffer from

@bikesandboots

Is that really a problem with the RRP? I've an RRP fitted to a 2021 Fox 36 and didn't notice any issue when fully compressing the fork (when calibrating a ShockWiz).

RRP on a couple of bikes now and they've been fuss free. The 'long' one is properly long though (saw it fitted to someone else bike recently) and only really justified in deep winter. Standard good for all year.

Any recommendations to fit a Zeb?

Not sure there are Zeb options s other than the mudbugger with adapter, unless you get the comically small SRAM one. Just fitted it to mine, happy with the look and fit but not ridden it yet.

Seems to be the only one not protecting the fork seals

@b33k34 It's a problem on the past few years' Pikes (personal experience) and Lyriks (others on STW). Tried spacing it down, different holes/angles, still can't get that last 7mm of travel. Don't know about Mudhugger's claim, but the shape looks like it will help on any fork that has the issue.
