Any suggestions? Found the SKS Bluemels so far but missing the flappy bit, to keep feet, drivetrain and the riding buddy behind devoid of winter filth!

SKS Chromoplastics have a front mud flap.
"Talk about mud flaps My gal's got 'em"
SKS Longboard are a bit longer than most.
Or add a longer flap.
TopFlaps. https://www.topflaps.co.uk/
Raw Mudflap. https://rawmudflap.uk/
Or a DIY version, from a plastic milk carton etc.
You can buy a SKS mudflap separately.
thanks, do these flaps need drilling in, or do those little rivet bits pop out to fit?
Bluemels Olympic racer have the mud flap. I have the 45mm ones and plenty of room with 35cc tyres, may squeeze in 40s. We’re only about £22 from Halfords.

IIRC you need to drill a small hole in the guard and push a plastic stud through to secure the flap.
I just bolted an Asssaver to the bottom of the front mudguard, does a better job of keeping my feet dry than it ever did of keeping my ass dry.

My flap is from Brooks. Hmmmm, leathery flaps.
SKS's own flaps are total crap IME. I use Raw Flaps (available via eBay) because I quite like the stealth reflective black job. But you can cut your own out of damp proof course, plastic ham packaging, etc. Or you can go posh with Brooks, Velo Orange etc, but they'll look a bit daft on plastic guards; best saved for nice Berthoud or VO metal guards.
If you're buying plastic guards to add a proper flap, I'd suggest buying the ones without flaps out of the box. The ones with them (which you'll need to remove to add a decent one) just mean you'll have to drill out the rivets; and in the case of recent SKS ones you'll also have to push the original flap off a nasty sharp clip hiding underneath it. (Been there, done that, bled on the T-shirt.)
