Fitting mudguards next weekend and was wondering what size my fork and frame use?

Bottle cage bolts look a bit wider than the carbon fork holes?

My disc callipers are flat mounts so might get away with just a washer as a spacer on my fork.

Almost always M5, same as bottle cages.

I thought that too but the holes look tiny! Maybe I have to face the threads from the extra paint.

I'd use a bit a thread lock also. I had some mud guard bolt back out once.

If it’s full of paint best tap it out first,

iv snapped a bolt forcing it before, and ripped a captive nut out of the carbon fork.

Thanks for the tip.

I’ll screw in gently in a few min then back in out till the paint is gone.

Might have a thread cutter kit but not sure of the sizes.
