Thinking of converting the DH bike to tubeless - have Mavic Deetraks wheels (they're a 721 or 729 rim, can't remember which) with Muddy Mary 2.5 Vertstars.
Neither the run nor tyre are tubeless specific, so it'll be a ghetto job - Stan's tape and/or rim strips - anyone done similar? Good/bad idea? The weight of two DH tubes must be worth losing, if it works.

Checked, it's the 729 rim in disguise.
