I'm after some clip on mudguards as the cross bike has no mudguard eyelets nor brackets anywhere on the frame.
Stumbling block seems to be my tyres 40mm smart sams that hsve just been set up tubeless.
Any recommendations for clip-on, full ish mudguards? And oh - I'm using cantilever brakes.
Doh
You can usually fit any mudguards using cable ties if there are no mounting holes
@stoofus - TJ is right about using zip ties for crown, seat stay and chain stay attachment points. How about P-clips for the bolts if you don’t have eyelets?
Other option to consider is something like the SKS speedrocker, but zip ties on rather than the straps.

I also cable ties the stays to the dropouts on two bikes
Just bought Speedrockers but not fitted them yet. Had GravelHuggers last year which were good, though front was a little short.

I've just ordered some of these for the dog walking bike, which has 40mm tyres.
They look ideal as I think they'll cover bigger than that too I read in a review.
Have you got clearance between the tyres and the frame/fork, i.e. full-length guards would fit if you had the eyelets etc?
As others saying, you can be creative with cable ties and P-clips. I use 47mm smart sams over winter with SKS Edge AL guards. Previous bike I used cable ties at the chainstay/seatstay bridges, current bike thankfully has eyelets. But for the fork - Exotic monocoque carbon - I've used cable ties around the crown combined with P-clips at the bottom. Solid.
The speedrockers look perfect if it wasnt for the cantilever brakes as I can't see how I've have room for the guards around the brake bosses
