Currently running Maxxis High Roller 2s. Bought a Hutchinson DZO to try in the sticky stuff. But only one. Front or rear?
Grip when putting power down or grip when braking / cornering.
Both then. 😉
Although I think the front edges out over the rear, as avoiding trees is more useful than getting up a slope.
That was basically my thinking, but I know little about Tyres. Cheers
Steering and stopping every time for me.
i only run them on the rear - i used to run fr & rr but i found mudX 2.0 just too narrow for the front.
2.3 on front, 2.0 on rear gives plenty of mud clearance and enough grip.
Rear if SS 🙂
Danny Hart did this with a mud tyre on the back and dry tyre up front.
