ok so I've been pretty ill this week with the cold and feeling a bit sorry for myself, day off today for the holiday weekend so decided to go and just bible round the local trails and see how I'm doing as still not 100%
get down there legs feeling fine but heart and lungs feeling like they have forgot how to ride a bike, then the mud starts (anyone who stays the west coast of scotland will tell you its not stopped raining for 3 weeks)
back tyre starts sliding all over the ship bit clumps of mud hitting me and the bike and Q me cracking a great bike smile and suddenly feeling great!!
I get that this post doesnt really have a serious point but my bike made me smile today so i thought i'd share.
mud is great for october until march (with a frozen over period dec-jan) - april til september should vary from mildly moist to dry and dusty!
Weather is ruining the trails 😈
