How much of an issue is it for you? And what kind of mud do you get round your way?

Depends where I am, the lincolnshire wolds goes anything from slop, to sandy nothingness to clay and claggy chalk, all in the space of 10 miles.
Depends if it gets into the electrics and screws up the ecu.
I really enjoyed it. Had a real 'Stand by Me' feel to it.

Here's the thing. Before 29ers, mud clearance was a deal clincher in bike design. Mud matters.

Chalk ooze, chalk and mud, thin mud, thick mud... 2012 was the Year of Mud, though much of it did get washed away by the torrents of water leaving bright white scour channels on many of my favourite climbs.

Mud is probably the one area of biking where I'm quite good.
Wet sloppy stuff, not cloggy, not even requiring of mud tyres most of the time.
No it's the usual panic, there's been one raindrop and we had had some sunshine.
same as njee20, probably because we ride similar areas, just surface slop. slippy and hard work at the worst of times, but very rarely sticks or is unrideable. greatest concern is damage to the trails.
My local woods are claggy but I can head further away and get rocks and wetness. The cost of chains and brake pads is off putting though.
